Level 4 Anatomy and Physiology for Laser, IPL & LED Treatments

This  online course has been developed to provide learners with knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology systems that are involved in Laser, IPL & LED treatments.

The body systems covered include: Skin, Hair and Nails, Components of Blood, the Circulatory System, The Lymphatic System, an overview of Immunology, the Endocrine System, Wound Healing and Ageing Skin.

Along with the Aesthetics Laser and IPL Core of Knowledge course, this Anatomy & Physiology course underpins all other Laser, IPL & LED courses offered by Skintastic Aesthetics Ltd. 

Completion of this course is an entry requirement for most of the courses offered.
​​​Once candidates successfully pass the online multiple choice assessment at the end of the course they will receive a Grade 4 endorsed certificate.

Module 1 – Anatomy & Physiology of Skin, Hair and Nails
Module 2 – Composition of Blood
Module 3 – Circulatory System
Module 4 – Lymphatic System
Module 5 – Overview of Immune System
Module 6 – Endocrine System
Module 7 – Wound Healing Mechanisms of Skin
Module 8 – Ageing Skin & Principles of Non-surgical Rejuvenation
At the end of the course there will be an online assessment.

It is important that you view each of the modules and do not skip any material.

A Certificate of Achievement will automatically be issued to candidates who complete the full training course and score 80% of the final quiz. And you can try as many times as you wish until getting the score.

YOU WILL RECEIVE A CPD QUALIFICATION FOLLOWED BY OUR OWN CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AT THE END OF THE ASSESSMENT  (PLEASE ALLOW 4 WEEKS TO PROCESS THE CPD QUALIFICATION)​
